In-House News

December 15th 2025 - Adams County Fire District #5 would like to thank Chris Guess and CHS Seed for Stewardship Program for their generous grant donation. With this grant, A.C.F.D. #5 is looking forward to purchasing rechargeable battery packs and a docking station to ensure more safety and reliability for the department's MSA structure air packs. These air packs are powered by a small screen display that provides information such as how much air to a firefighter when breathing through a mask in toxic smoke during a vehicle and structure fire. A.C.F.D. #5 continues to hold safety to its highest standards to our firefighters. With this grant, the department can continue to keep our firefighters safe while working through some of the toughest tasks as a firefighter. We again thank Chris and CHS Seed for Stewardship Program to continue to provide this opportunity to our department.
